Rugby League

Today we had Rugby League at the bottom court, outside Room 8.  I missed the Rugby League game last Friday because I was sick.  Our coach was called coach Paul.  Coach Paul bought his bag with his balls and cones.  His bag was dark blue and black.

First we did a warm up game called rock, paper, scissors, dragon.  Eti won the game.  Then we played it again and Eit won again and so she got to be the head of the dragon. 

Next we played Stuck in the Mud.  There were three taggers in the game.  If you got tagged you had to freeze.  I was one of the taggers in the third game.  I ran fast and tagged lots of people.  To untag a person you push the person’s hand down.

After that we got into teams and played relays.  I was a team leader.  There were five people in my team.  Their names were Summer, Bryan, Harley, Kena and me.  We played several relay games.  In one game we ran with the ball to the cone and did a side step and a spin.  In another game we ran to

the cone and did five star jumps.  Then after that we ran to the cone and did a goose step.

Going To The Beach

Going To The Beach

In the holidays I went swimming at the beach.  I went with my three brothers and my sister.  My sisters’ name is Rhonda and my brothers’ names are Sosefo, Kolio and Ofa.  My Dad took us to the beach. 

When we got to the beach the first thing we did was to have a swim.  It was very cold because it is the middle of winter.  But it was still lots of fun.  After we got out of the water we quickly got dry and put on our clothes to get warm.

Next we went looking for shells and seaweed along the beach.  We found ten shells and ten pieces of seaweed.  Then we played on the sand.  Rhonda, my brothers and I built lots of sandcastles.  We decorated them with shells and sticks.  They looked really cool.

Later we went home, had a shower and ate some hot food.  I like going to the beach to play.  I like it a lot.  The best part was looking for shells and seaweed together.

Saturday

Saturday

On Saturday I went to my Auntie Mana and Elaine's house.  Mana and Elaine are at the same school as me.  We are all at St Patrick's School in Panmure.  Mana is in Room 5 and Elaine is in Room 6.  They are older than me.  All of my brothers and sisters went with me.

We played lots of games together.  First we played hide and seek  outside the house.  Then we played tag around the house.  My brother Kolio watched TV because he was bored.  After that we had lunch.  My Mum, and Mana and Elaine's Mum got us lunch.  We had crab with bread and butter for lunch.  It tasted yummy and it is healthy to eat.  

After lunch we thanked Mana and Elaine's Mum for the food and then we went home.  I like going to Mana and Elaine's place to play.  I hope we go again soon.

The Forest

Once there were two children.  There was a boy and a girl.  Their names were Uani and So Sefo.  One day they were walking home from school through the forest.  They stopped to have some fun playing in the bushes. 

Then it started to get dark and they hadn’t noticed.  When they stopped to look around they realised that they were lost.  They were not scared because they had each other, but they decided to call for help.  No one came to help them, so they looked for the path to get back home.  But they could not find the path.  Then they became very scared.  It was dark and there were strange noises coming from further inside the forest.

The children didn’t know what to do.  Just then their dad found them.  He had been searching for them in the forest for a long time.  The children were very happy to see their dad, and their dad was very happy to see his children.  They hugged each other.  Then their dad said, “Let’s go home”.

After School

After school I helped Rhonda to do her homework.  I helped her with some words that she needed to write.  When we had finished Rhonda said thank you.  Then I went to bed to have a sleep.  When I woke up I watched TV.  When I finished watching TV I played outside.  I played a game of ‘I Spy’ with my friends.  Later I went inside and went back to sleep because I was tired.

On the weekend

On the weekend I went to Pack’n Save to buy lunch for school on Monday.  I went with my dad and one of my big sisters.  We bought apples and a bar each.  We also bought lots of other things.  We took the things we wanted off the shelves and put them into our trolly.  Then we went and paid for them at the counter.  After that we put the things in our car and went home.  At home I helped to put the things in our house. 

After going to Pack’n Save we also went to some other shops.  We bought bread and lollies.  We had forgotten to buy the bread at Pack’n Save.  Then we went back home and I shared the lollies with my brothers and sisters.  The lollies tasted good.  My favourite lollies are the mint ones.

On the weekend

On the weekend I went to the takeaway shop to buy chips and drinks.  I went with my family.   The takeaway shop is a long way from our house. We went in our car.  I was hungry.  So next we went back home to eat our chips and drink our drinks.  Then I sat down at the table and ate my chips.  When I had finished eating my chips I sat down to watch TV.
