Going To Bounce And Beyond

During the holidays my family and I went to Bounce and Beyond.  Bounce and Beyond is an entertainment centre for children.  Adults can come in too, but first they have to pay.

First, my family and I changed into our best clothes.
Next we all got into the car, and we remembered to put on our seatbelts.

After that I asked my mum, “Where are we going?”  My mum said “It’s a surprise!”  When we got to our destination my sister and I were surprised.  Then we shouted, “Bounce and Beyond!”  Then we all went inside while my mum paid.

At Bounce and Beyond you have to wear socks at all times.  Bounce means that everything inside is bouncy, and it is fun.  There is a climbing wall and a wreaking ball.  They are two of my favourites.  There is also a little Island.  The Island is next to the cafĂ©.  There is a queen chair.  It is bouncy and there is a crown on top.

Finally it was time to go home.  I had so much fun at Bounce and Beyond.  I hope to go there another time.

Train Trip

In the holidays my auntie Noah took Penelope, Tryah, Leiloa and I on a train ride to the city.  Tyrah is my sister from Auckland, Penelope is my big sister from up north, and Leiloa is my sister from Samoa.

We boarded the train at the Glen Innes Station.  Then we travelled on the train to the city.  It was a short trip.  When we got to the Britomart Train Station, in the city, we walked outside and we went to the mall.

First we looked in two different shops but my auntie didn’t like those shops.  So then we found a shop that my auntie picked.  We went into the shop and bought some colouring books, writing books and colouring pens.  We also bought earphones for my auntie and a phone cover for Penelope’s phone.  My auntie said that Penelope needed a phone cover to protect her phone.

Next we got some food at McDonald’s.  We ate our food outside.  While I ate my chips I saw some pigeons that were starving, so I feed them some of my chips.  Lots of pigeons came to me and I petted them.  They kept flapping their wings.

After that we had to go home, but we didn’t know what to do so we asked a man which was our train.  He said, “Your train was the one that just left”.  So we had to wait for another train to arrive.

Soon the train that we were waiting for arrived.  So we went on the train and waited for the driver to say, “Glen Innes Station”.  When we got back to the Glen Innes Station we got out of the train and we went to the Internet place in the shopping centre.  At the Internet place we watched parts of some movies.

After that we went home by taxi.  When we got home it was raining so we went inside and changed our clothes.  Then we sat in the lounge and watched a movie.  We were all tired but we had a great day going to the city in the train.

My Cousins Seta And Alice

In the holidays my cousins came to stay with us.  They are from Australia.  Their names are Seta and Alice.  They are both older than me.  While they were in Auckland they spent some time with my family and I.

One of the first things they did when they arrived was to teach my sister and I their Samoan dance.  It is called the Sasa.  My sister and I now know how to dance the Sasa.  It starts off slow and them gets fast.  My cousins performed their Sasa at my friend’s church.  They wore a lavalava and a black and orange top.  They also wore tiara type head dresses with beautiful Samoan flowers on them.   The flowers come from Samoa.  My cousins looked beautiful.  Everybody clapped at the end of their performance.  I was very proud of them.

We all had a good night watching the dancing and singing performances at church.

In The Holidays

In the holidays I went to Rainbows End with my auntie and my sister.  My sister’s name is Tyrah.  First we went to the small roller coaster with my auntie.  It was for children but my auntie could still fit in the carts.  There was enough room for everybody.  Then we went to the roundabout.  My sister and I got onto a horse each.  My auntie videoed us as we went around the roundabout.  We waved and smiled to my auntie.  We also said hello to each other.

Next we went to the ride which had seats that looked like rocket ships.  I was too big to get in it but my sister Tyrah could fit.  She had to put a seat belt on just like we do in the car.  Tryah waved to us as she went around and around.

After that we went to find some food because we were really hungry.  We had hot dogs and drink.  Next we went inside a big room and took off our shoes.  There were lots of things to do.  We went on the bumpy ride and the other ride downstairs.  We also did some other things that were fun too.  When we got home we were very tired.  I felt like having a nap.  It was lots of fun at Rainbows End.
