In The Holidays

In the holidays I played with my brother and sister. We saw my cousins, my aunty and my uncle.  They came to visit us. When they arrived I said hi to my cousins. Then they said hi back to me. Next I   got the soccer ball. Then my brothers and sisters and I played soccer with my cousin. While we played soccer my parents talked with my uncle and aunty.  Later it was time to eat so I went and told all of the adults to come and eat.  Then they all came inside to eat and my aunty said that we needed to wash our hands first.  Before we ate we said our prayer and then we ate our food.

After lunch we went to the the large room and watched cartoons on TV. My cousins and I felt very tired so we went inside my room and had a sleep. My holiday was a lot of fun.

My Holiday Recount!!! ☺

On my holiday I was very busy.  Firstly I helped my mum to plant the plantations, and secondly I went and picked up the rubbish. Thirdly I washed the bathtub and fourthly I cleaned up my room and vacuumed it.

When I had finished helping my mum I went inside my room and played on the playstation with my little brother.  My little brother’s name is Alex. Finally we ended up tired, and my little brother Alex won the racing car game.

Later my mum called us to come and eat lunch.  Alex and I went and ate lunch and the lunch was so delicious and tasty.

I Have So Much Fun On My Holiday.

My Weekend With My Friend Fiona.

I had so much fun on the weekend. My friend, Fiona, came over to play with me. We went to my backyard to play watertight.  My friend was happy because I was kind to her.

After that we went and changed our clothes and put them inside the washing machine.  Then my mum came and turned the machine on to do the washing.

Next my friend and I went and ate our lunch.  After that Fiona’s mum came and picked her up.  Before she went home Fiona said to me that I'm such a lovely and caring friend. 

On the weekend I had so much fun with friend Fiona.

At Rainbows End

During the holidays my family and I went to Rainbows End to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. His name is Giovanni.  He is at the same school as me, but he is older.  Giovanni is in Year 8. 

My auntie, and all of her family, came to pick up my family and I to take us to Rainbows End.  But when she arrived my family and I were still dressing.  My auntie waited for us to finish dressing. 

First, after we had gotten into my auntie’s car, we put on our seat belts.  Then my auntie drove us to Rainbows End.

When we got to Rainbows End I went to get the tickets.

The first thing I went on was the Racing Cars.  When I pressed the red key, and then the car went.  My sister and I raced each other and I beat her.  Everyone watching us knew that I was being a good driver. 

Next we went to the lady who had given us our tickets.  We said goodbye to her and we wished her a good holiday.  Then she said to me that I was good at driving.  I said, “Thank you”.  Then she gave me a necklace.  It sparkled like diamonds. 

After that we were both tired so we went to have a little rest.  Then it was time to go home.  We all had a happy family day having fun at Rainbows End.

Going To Sunday Mass

On Sunday I went to Mass with some of my family.  It was an important Mass for our school because our school children were the choir. 

During the week we all had to practise our singing.  We did singing practice with the whole school in Room 4.  On Friday Room 8 couldn’t do singing practice because they had to do PE games outside with their coach.

Some of my family and I went to church in our family car.  I sat with my school near the front of the church.  The rest of my family went to another church.  My dad had to help the priest at another church.

At church I sang with my school choir and we prayed.  I listened to Father Michael and I remembered to do what my mum and dad tell me to do.

After Mass I went to Sunday school.  Later we had a cup of tea and then we walked home.  I like going to church because it is important for us to remember to listen to our mums and dads, and be friendly towards other people.

At The Swimming Pool

In the holidays I went to the swimming pool with my family.  My family included my brothers, sisters, cousins, nana, aunties and uncles.  My mum and dad didn’t come with us because they were working.

We travelled to the swimming pool in two vans.  First, when we got to the pool, we put on our swimming clothes. Then we went to swim in the swimming pool. 

It was nice and warm in the swimming pool.  I had lots of fun in the pool.  I splashed water all over myself and it felt good.  Then I swam up and down the pool.  Some of my brothers and sisters also swam up and down the pool.  After that I went on the slide.  There was water coming down the slide and it ended in the swimming pool.  I slid down the slide very fast and then splashed into the pool. 

After that I looked for my auntie and nana, but they were over in the hot pool.  When I found my nana I told her that I wanted something to eat.  She laughed and pushed me into the water.  I laughed too. 

Then I needed to find my brother, and I partnered up with my sister.  We all went to eat some food together.  I ate chips and I had a drink of water.  Then I was tired.  Not everyone in my family was tired.  Finally we left the pools and we went back home.  I like going to the swimming pools.  

Thank you Holy Spirit

Thank you Holy Spirit for the joyful times in my life and thank you for looking after my family.  We celebrated my cousin Luke’s birthday on the weekend.  My cousin Luke is two years old.  The celebration was at my nana’s house. 

We ate chocolate cake and I had some banana cake.    My nana, my cousin Emma, my aunties Kylie, Vanila, and Nessa made Luke’s birthday cakes.  I liked both of the cakes very much.  Then we sang Happy Birthday to Luke.  Cousin Luke clapped and smiled at us. 

Later we ate chocolate and watched TV.  We watched a DVD.  It was about a baby who made funny faces at a pig.  The pig was angry and he said that making faces at him was not funny.  We all laughed and Luke laughed a lot because he likes funny movies.  We all had a good time at Luke’s birthday celebration.

Queen’s Birthday Weekend

On the weekend I went to my auntie’s house with my sister Maraya.  It was a sunny day.  We played with my cousin.  My auntie’s name is auntie Cinta and my cousin’s name is Mercy.  We played tag outside, around the house.  We ran very fast. 

Then we went inside to eat.  First we said our prayers and then we ate our food.  I ate cereal with milk.  My cousin, my sister and I put strawberries on our cereal.  It tasted like rice bubbles.

After that my aunty took us all to the swimming pools.  I swam with my cousin and my sister. We played splashing our faces.  My cousin swam under the water and she tried to tag my feet. I was ticklish. Later we all went on the playground.  There were lots of things to play on the playground.  I played driving and my cousin and my sister played ball.   I had a brilliant time at the pools.

At The Beach

On the weekend my family and I went to the beach.  First I and my sisters changed our clothes in the ladies changing sheds. 

Then we all went outside and played tag and splashing in the water.  We splashed water on our faces.  The water was a bit cold.  We swam up and down in the sea.

After playing we had something to drink and eat.  I was very hungry because I had been busy playing with my family.  Then we played some more.  We played chasing and I ran very fast.

Later we went back home.  I was tired.  I had lots of fun at the beach.

At The Beach

On the weekend my family and I went to the beach.  First I and my sisters changed our clothes in the ladies changing and toilet sheds. 

Then we all went outside and played tag and splashing in the water.  We splashed water on our faces.  The water was a bit cold. 

After playing we had something to drink and eat.  I was very hungry because I had been busy playing with my family.  Then we played some more.  We played chasing. 

Later we went back home.  I was tired.  I had lots of fun at the beach.

Sky Tower

In the holidays I went to the Sky Tower.  I went with my family.  There was my mum, auntie, uncle, cousins, brothers, sisters and myself. 

When we got to the Sky Tower we were all hungry so we went to get some food.  First we had to find a table.  Then we got some food and something to drink. 

After we had had something to eat and drink we all got into the lift and went up to the top of the Sky Tower to look at the view.  We were very high up and we could see all over Auckland.  I could see lots of big tall buildings and lots of houses.  I could also see the water.  The water was blue and it was the sea.

Later we went back home. I was very tired.  I had a great day going to the Sky Tower with my family.

In The Holidays

In the holidays I played with my friends.  Their names are Arnu and Kera.  They are both older than me.  Arnu is 9 years old and Kera is 8 years old. 

We played at my house.  We played in the bark in my garden.  We ran around, played tag and slid down on the bark.  We played with our water guns and we squirted each other with water. 

Next we put our water guns down and climbed up the tree. We climbed high in the tree.  When we got down we threw bark in each other’s T-shirts.  After that I climbed up the tree and my friends squirted me with water.

I had a fun day and so did my friends.  I like playing in the bark with my friends.
