My Whanau

On the weekend we went to the pools.  I went swimming with my mum and dad, and my sister Kena.

Whanau Time

In the holidays I went to the beach with my family and my cousins.  My cousins names are Asau and Sarah, and my baby cousin is called Sattewalla.  My cousins were late getting to the beach because they were stuck in the city.  My family and my other cousins were worried about them.  

When my cousins finally arrived at the beach we took out our mermaid tails and we played making mermaids by swimming under the water.  After we finished playing the games we were tired, so we took our mermaid tails off.  Next we got changed in the changing room. Later we played on the sand and then it was time to go.  I like playing and swimming with my cousins at the beach.

Pak and Save

In the holidays I went to Pak and Save with my family.  We bought some ham and some grapes.  The we went back home.

The Weekend

On the weekend I like going out with my mum, my dad and my sister.

Dear God Thank You

Dear God thank you for the rain because we need water to drink.  And thank you God for the sun so our plants can grow strong like the wind.

Prayer to God

In Room 1 we are learning to thank God for all of the good things in our lives.

Thank you God for the rain today because we need water to drink.  Also, when we plant seeds and plants they need the rain and sun and some shade to help them to grow.  If the plants are fruit or vegetables we can eat them when they grow.  When we pick lettuce and fruit we can make salad with them and put the salad in a bowl.
