ANZAC Weekend

On the weekend I went to the ANZAC parade with my dad.  We saw soldiers, nurses, planes and helicopters.  The planes and the helicopters threw red poppies down on us.  They looked like lots of little red dots raining down on us.  After that I prayed for the soldiers.  Then we went to the museum. 

At the museum I saw a map of Gallipoli in the game of Minecraft.  Minecraft is my favourite game.  We also saw some soldiers with guns.  Their guns looked like the guns in Minecraft.  I loved my day.

Mother’s Day

On Friday my mum, dad and I went to Austria for Mother’s Day.  We went by plane and I fell asleep in the plane.  When we got to Austria my mum’s mum (my grandma) and my mum’s dad (my granddad) picked us up from the airport.  Then we went to my grandma’s and grandad’s home.  They live in an apartment.  It was late and so we all went to sleep. 

The next day we went to a café for breakfast.  It was Mother’s Day.  I wished my mum a happy Mother’s Day and she gave me lots of hugs and kisses.  Next we went for a walk in the forest.  It was snowing so it was cold.  We had a terrific Mother’s Day together.  I was happy and so were my Mum and Dad, and my grandparents.

Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day my mum, my brother and I went to the swimming pool.  At the swimming pool I bombed, dived and splashed with my mum and my brother.  The best thing I liked doing was bombing.  I made short splashes.  It was fun.

After that we went to the Sylvia Park shopping mall.  At the mall we went shopping.  We bought an Xbox 360, with games, at the Warehouse.  It was cool but I would really like to get an Xbox Live so that I could play online with my friends.

After that we went to McDonald’s and to KFC to get some food to eat and something to drink.  Some of the food was very expensive.  It was very busy in the food court.  We had a nice lunch and I was full.  My mum was happy.  We all had a good Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day Justin, my baby brother, and I gave our mum a present.  I gave her a Mother’s Day card that I had made at school.  My baby brother gave her a flower.  She said, “Wow”, and she kissed and hugged us.

For breakfast we had eggs and spam.  After breakfast dad went out.  Then dad came back.  He had bought some flowers for mum!!

Then we went to church.  We sang Tagalog songs.  After church we had a special Mother’s Day lunch.  We ate a cake, pizza and chips.  It was yummy.  Later we went home.  We had a fantastic day.

Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day my family and I went to a Filipino restaurant to celebrate.  My aunties, uncles and cousins came up from Hamilton to celebrate Mother’s Day with us.  I gave my mum the card that I made at school.  She said, “Great card sweetie”.  Then she gave me hugs and kisses.

Next we went to the Filipino restaurant.  First, I had an orange drink with some coke in it.  It tasted yummy.  Then we had a big cake.  It was a strawberry chocolate cake.  We all had a piece of the cake each.  It tasted like a rainbow cake. 

Later we went to grandma’s place and we got to play on my grandma’s playground.  I played with my cousins.  We had lots of fun. 

Autumn Fun

Mother’s Day

 On Mother’s Day my family and I went to our church.  When we got there we saw some balloons and flowers.  The balloons were pink and white.  The flowers were very colourful. 

First some boys performed a show.  It was really funny because the boys wore dresses and lipstick.  They had to act like girls. 

On our way back home my sister and I gave our mum our Mother’s Day cards.  She was very pleased. She smiled and gave us hugs and kisses.  When we got home we watched a movie.  It was about a magician whose name was Zo.  It was a good movie and we hadn’t seen it before.

My mum, my dad, my sister and I had a fabulous Mother’s Day.
