Summer, Harley and Anamaria went to the Warehouse. They bought some DVDs and some books. The DVDs cost $14.00 and the books cost $16.00. How much money did they spend?

$14 + $16
= 14 + 16
= 10 + 4 + 10 + 6
= 10 + 10 + 6 +4
= 10 + 10 + 10
= 30
The children spent $30 at the Warehouse.
