Rainbows End

On Saturday I went to Rainbows End with my family.  We went in Phil’s car. 

First we went on the dodgems.  I banged my cousin’s dad.  I banged into Rob.  We all banged into each other.  Nana screamed because poppa wouldn’t stop banging into us and Caleb bumped us.  We went back and forwards.  When you bump into each other you go forwards and backwards.  We all had fun. 

Next we got on the family kart but you are not allowed to bump into each other. The family karts have no bumpers so it’s not safe to bump into each other.   

After that my nana, aunty, Rob and Phil went on the fear fall.  Phil was really scared.  As the fear fall slowly went up everyone was quiet but when the fear fall raced down everyone screamed, only Rob was brave.

Then we got candy floss.  My mum and my cousin’s dad couldn’t stop eating mine and Caleb’s candy floss.

Later we went home. My feet were sore and I had a shower.  Then we had dinner.  After that I read a book and Theo and I went to bed. 

Going to Syliva Park

On Sunday I went to Sylvia Park with my mum, nana, auntie and cousin Caleb.  My mum and I went in our car and we parked near Pak and Save.  My auntie, nana and cousin Caleb had to park in the underground car park because there were lots of cars and they took up the whole car park.  When I got out of the car other cars came over the white line so my mum had to carry me to keep me save.

My mum and I got to Pak and Save first.  We waited for my nana, aunty and cousin Caleb.  We saw them come up the stairs.  I ran down to meet them and they walked up the stairs to me. 

First we went to the food court to get something to eat.  I had some marshmellows and a burger.  It tasted very yum!

Then we went to the Warehouse and we looked for some clothes for Caleb.  They were special clothes for him to wear on his birthday.  His birthday is on the 7^th of September.  Caleb will turn 5 years old.  I helped my aunty to find Caleb some birthday clothes.  We got Caleb a light blue jacket.  Later we got Caleb some black shoes from Rebels and I got some pink shoes.  Caleb’s shoes had valcro but my shoes did not.  We also got some lollies at the Warehouse.

Next we went to get my nana a coffee and a man gave Caleb and I some more marshmellows.  I had the minty marshmellows but Caleb doesn’t like mint flavoured. 

After we had finished shopping we were hungry so we went back to the car and then to Burger King for lunch.  I like going to Sylvia Park!

Inflatable World

In the holidays I went to Inflatable World with my mum, my nana and my cousin Caleb.  When we got there Caleb and I went on the Bouncy Castle.  Nana came on the Bouncy Castle with us.  Nana is the person who has to hop on the things that Caleb goes on. 

Then I got hot and so did Caleb.  So we had a drink each.  After we had our drinks I went on the Obstacles.  Caleb and I had to run and jump to get into the Obstacles.  Caleb couldn’t jump high enough so nana had to give him a hand.  I climbed over the medium sized wall and slid down.  Then I came to big wall.  I managed to get over the big wall.  I had to put my feet in the green things and then I held the black things to help me to get over.

Next I went on the Climbing Wall.  It felt a bit scary.  I climbed to the top.  Nana helped Caleb to get on the climbing wall.  Caleb needed nana’s help because he had never been on a climbing wall before.  Later my nana came on the slide with Caleb and I. 

Then we went to McDonald’s.  At McDonald’s I had a cheese burger and I got a Minion.  The food tasted good. Caleb and I like it.  We had lots of fun at Inflatable World.  I think Inflatable World is cool and so does my cousin Caleb.  

Thank you Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit thank you for my family.  This weekend I spent time with my family.  We started to pack up our belongings again because we are moving to another house.  We are moving because the next door neighbours are not nice to us. 

We went to my auntie’s house to get some boxes to pack up our things and then we went home.  I saw my dog at my auntie’s house.  His name is Bolt.  I did not know that Bolt was staying with my auntie.  Bolt had been in a bad car crash.  He had been to the pet hospital and they had looked after him.  He had safety pins in him to help him to get better.  Seeing him injured gave me a fright.  My mummy said that he has now gone to Doggy Heaven to be with God, Jesus and Mother Mary, and other dogs.  I miss him very much.

When we got home I asked my mummy if I could start packing a box but she said that I needed to wait because she was getting my dinner out of our freezer.  I tried to pack a box on my own but I fell into it.  I was kind of doing a handstand in the box.  The box was holding me but then I fell over.  I called out to mummy and we both laughed together. 

On Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day I made breakfast for my mum in bed.  She got a fright because I had to wake her up.  After we had had our breakfast we got ready to spend the day at my Nana’s house.  My Nana looked beautiful.  She was wearing a dress.  It was pink, purple and red.  It had blue and pink flowers on it.

Next we all went to Pack and Save.  There was my mum, nana, auntie, cousin and I.  At Pack and Save we bought some food for lunch.  We got some sausages, mayo and some potatoes.  The potatoes were for making potato salad.  I like potato salad.  Our food was yummy for my tummy.

After that we went home and went to sleep.  Later I got up and said, “Happy Mother’s Day mum”.  It was the middle of the night and my mum told me to go back to sleep.  I was very tired and happy. 

Our New House

In the holidays my mum and I painted our new house.  We painted both the inside and the outside of the house.  We painted the outside white.  We painted my bedroom purple and my mum’s bedroom white.

While we were painting my aunty Vanessa and my cousin Caleb came to have a look.  They said that we were doing a good job painting and that our house was cool. 

We are going to move into our new house on Saturday.  We have packed most of our things into boxes ready to move.  We didn’t pack my toys so that I could still play with them.  We did pack my clothes so I have to go and get them out of the box when I want to wear them. 

My mummy forgot that I had school this morning.  She couldn’t find my drink bottle but later she found it in one of the boxes in the cupboard.  We are very excited to be moving. 

At The Pools

In the holidays I went to the pools with my Mum.  I wore my togs to the swimming pool.  I went in the deep pool while my Mum watched me. 

I am learning to float.  My mum held me with her hands under my back while I floated.  Next I did a handstand under the water.  My mum tried to get me but she couldn’t.  I like doing handstands.

I also really liked it when my Mum piggy backed me in the water and then threw me up.  I landed in the water.  She did it twice.  I splashed all the people and I went so high that I nearly touched the sky. 

Then I jumped off the high board and splashed my mum.  She went under the water and didn’t hold her breath.  I did lots of swimming under the water and I pulled my Mum’s leg.  She laughed.  Then my Mum went quietly under the water and pulled my leg and I laughed. 

Later my Nan, auntie and cousin Caleb arrived and got into the water.  I went under the water and pulled everyone’s legs and they laughed. 

After we left the swimming pools we went to get McDonald’s and KFC.  Swimming is fantastic and I can’t wait to go swimming again.

Rugby League

Rugby League

Last week Room One played Rugby League on the bottom court.  We played Octopus as a group.  Eti and Oliver and Harley chased all the children.  They were the taggers.  When they caught me I had to freeze and become seaweed.  Then I was chosen to be ‘in’.  I was one of the taggers and I chased Summer.  I caught Summer.

Next we played rock, paper, scissor, dragon.  Eti won the game.  Then we played rugby kicks.  We did grub kicks, chip kicks and bomb kicks.  Bomb kicks were very high.  Grub kicks are low.  When you do a chip kick you kick the ball up like a rainbow.  My favourite kick was the bomb kick because you have to kick the ball up high to your partner.  Then we said thank you to the coaches.  I like playing rugby kicks.

The Movies

The Movies

In the holidays I went to my cousin’s birthday party.  His name is Joey.  He turned 7 years old, so he is older than me.  Joey’s birthday party was in our church hall. 

A lot of people came to Joey’s birthday party.  There was my nana, my auntie Vanessa, and my mum.  My mum’s name is Natasha.   Lots of my family were at Joey’s birthday party. 

First we ate birthday cake.  It was a chocolate and strawberry cake.  It was decorated with strawberries and it had an angel on top of it.  It looked very pretty.  It tasted like strawberries and it was yum.

Next we watched a movie.  The movie was about a dragon.  The dragon was called Joey.  It had a sad ending because the dragon died at the end of the movie. 

After the movie I gave Joey his present.  I gave him a doll’s house.  It had dolls inside it.  They were little dolls.  Joey said, “Thank you”, to me.  Joey liked his present.

Later we went to McDonalds and ate and played.  After that we went to the park to play some more.  Then we went home.  It was a fantastic day.

Our Family Dinner

Our Family Dinner

Yesterday we had a family dinner but some people came late.  This was because they live a long way away from us.  There was my Auntie Curlie, my Auntie Vanessa, my cousins Caleb and Nevea, and my Dad.  My other cousin came but I don't know his name.  So I call him baby.  We had chips, bacon, some chicken, some fish and crab.  We all sat at the dinner table.  Later we had strawberry cake, strawberries, chocolate ice-cream , strawberry ice-cream and all the flavours.
