Today we wrote our class poem by using the rhyming words; lunch, munch, hunch and crunch. We also know some more rhyming words. They are; punch, brunch and bunch.

Maths: Number Stories
Today, at Maths, we worked out the answer to our 'Number Stories'.
Question 1: Sione, Estherose and Eli went to the shops. They bought a pair of shoes, a box of strawberries and some mangos. How much money did they spend?
They spent $101.00, $10.00 and $20.00, said Sonasi and Angelina.
101 + 10 + 20 = 101 + 30 said Ellma
and Sonasi said that 101 + 30 = 131
So the children spent $131.00
Question 2:
Ellma, Lupe and Cooper went to the shops. They bought a playstation game, 3 apples and 5 mangos.
The playstation game cost $99.00, the apples cost $15.00 and the mangos cost $10.00.
How much money did they spend?
They spent 99 + 15 + 10 said Cooper.
We know that 90 + 10 + 10 = 110 said Ben.
And we know that 9 + 5 = 14 said April.
So 110 + 14 = 124 said Cooper.
The children spent $124.00.
Question 3:
Chester and Matthew went to the shops. They spent $3.00 and $2.00. How much money did they spend altogether?
They spent $3.00 + $2.00 said Ana.
3+2=5 said Leone.
So they spent $5.00 said Ana and Leonie.

Mother's Day
On Mother's Day I gave my Mum a hug and I gave her my Mother's Day card. I made her my Mother's Day card at school. I love my Mum and she loves me!
Having A Kind Mouth
Emma, thank you for liking me. I like you too. I love Emma and my friend Lynn. They say nice things to me and I say nice things to them. Lynn and Emma are going to come with me to my appointment on Thursday. Lynn lets me play a game with her first.
Mother's Day
On Mother's Day my family and I went to church and we gave Mum flowers and we whispered in her ear. We said, "Happy Mother's Day". Then other Dads came to the front and the Dads said, "Happy Mother's Day to the Mums. Father told the Dad's to go up to the front of the church. My Mum gave me a big hug. My love my Mum very much!

On Mother's Day I gave my Mum her card that I had made at school. She said, 'Thank you Lupe".
Next we made lollies for my Mum. We kept them a secret. Then we went to church.
After making the lolly necklace we put it on my Mum's neck. It looked just like a real necklace, like the ones at the shop. After we had put the necklace on our Mum they gave us some lollies. It was a great Mother's Day and I love my Mum very much!
