The New Carpet

Last week we were very busy packing up all of our things in Room One.  First we tidied them up and organised things into boxes.  We used cardboard boxes and plastic boxes.  Some old things got put into the rubbish bin. Then the recycling students from Rooms 6 and 8 came to take them away.  Then two days later our books and learning activity things were taken to Room 3 by the Rooms 6 and 8 students.  Everything had to be moved out of Room 1.  

On Wednesday we moved into Room 3.  It is fun being in a different classroom, but sometimes it is hard to find our exercise books.  Miss Craig made sure that we could find our pencils and crayons.  Then she found our books.  

Today the Carpet man has come to start putting down our new carpet in Room 1.  We are having some new lino put down too.  We can't wait to see it.  Sister Evalesi and Mrs Dines chose the colour.

Saturday

On Saturday I went to my Auntie Mana and Elaine's house.  Mana and Elaine are at the same school as me.  We are all at St Patrick's School in Panmure.  Mana is in Room 5 and Elaine is in Room 6.  They are older than me.  All of my brothers and sisters went with me.

We played lots of games together.  First we played hide and seek  outside the house.  Then we played tag around the house.  My brother Kolio watched TV because he was bored.  After that we had lunch.  My Mum, and Mana and Elaine's Mum got us lunch.  We had crab with bread and butter for lunch.  It tasted yummy and it is healthy to eat.  

After lunch we thanked Mana and Elaine's Mum for the food and then we went home.  I like going to Mana and Elaine's place to play.  I hope we go again soon.

Tina's Birthday

Tina's Birthday

On Saturday I went to Tina's Birthday party.  Tina is my friend.  She lives next door to me.  She had her birthday party at the Rock Climbing Centre in Panmure.  My Dad took me in the van to the Rock Climbing Centre.  My other friend Marija was there too.  

First, we got our tickets and we were given blue bracelets.  The bracelets showed that we had payed for our tickets.  Next I went and did a climb up the rock face.  I wore a harness and I got half way up.  My favourite climbing activity was the sea one.  This was because there were pictures of sea horses and fish.  There was a funny fish type animal that was black and had red polka dots on it.  The scariest activity was the one with the dinosaur bones on it.  It had dinosaur teeth.  I had to use the red rope because red ropes are for kids and blue ropes are for adults.

After climbing the rock faces I went to the Adventure Land in the Rock Climbing area.  We played together and I took off my harness because when I was on the slide it hurt me.  I showed my Dad that I could walk on the plank.  I had to hold on tightly to the rope because it was high and wobbly.  Next, I found Tina hiding on the Pirate Ship.  I looked up and I saw her.  She didn't want come down, but then changed her mind and decided to come down.

Later we had some cake.  The birthday girl was sad because someone wasted the cake and so she didn't have any.  Then I prayed to God and Tina was happy again.  Tina ate the left over cake and was happy.

After that we went back to Tina's house and opened her gifts.  Then we played with them.  We played with a cup cake pillow that Tina got to design.  I gave Tina a Rainbow Dog pillow because her pillow didn't have much stuffing in it.  Tina liked the present that I gave her.  We all had a good time at Tina's birthday party.

Our Family Dinner

Yesterday we had a family dinner but some people came late.  This was because they live a long way away from us.  There was my Auntie Curlie, my Auntie Vanessa, my cousins Caleb and Nevea, and my Dad.  My other cousin came but I don't know his name.  So I call him baby.  We had chips, bacon, some chicken, some fish and crab.  We all sat at the dinner table.  Later we had strawberry cake, strawberries, chocolate ice-cream , strawberry ice-cream and all the flavours.

Going To The Airport

Yesterday my Mum went to Tonga.  In the morning my Mum got ready to go to Tonga.  First she packed her bag and then we all drove her to the airport.  At the airport I hugged and kissed my Mum goodbye.  Then she got on the plane.  We waved her goodbye as she went up in the plane.  There were lots of planes at the airport.  Next my Dad drove us home.  My Mum will be back home soon.  I miss my Mum.

On Saturday I went to the shops with my brother and my Dad.  My brother's name is Aaron. My Mum was at work.  At the shops we bought my Maths book and my Times Tables book.  Later I practiced my Times Tables with my Dad.  At the shops my brother looked at the computer games.  Dad bought some computer games for Aaron.  When we got home Aaron played his new games on his computer.  He let me play them too.  I liked playing computer games with Aaron

On the weekend I went out with my Nana and Granddad.  We went in the car.  First we went to Countdown to do some shopping.  Next we went to the Warehouse.  At the Warehouse we bought some firewood for our fire.  It will to keep us warm.  We also got some newspapers and then we went home.  When we got home we had lunch together and then Nana and Granddad went to their home.  I like going shopping with my Nana and Granddad.

The Rugby

On Saturday I went to my brother's rugby match.  His name is Patieleso. My mum took us to the rugby.  The match was at the Marist Rugby park.  Patieleso was playing in the Vasity Blue team.  They lost the game.  I played with my friends on the park.  We played on the monkey bars and had lots of fun.  After the rugby game we went home and ate lunch.  We were all very hungry.

Yesterday after church I went to Laser Strike for a birthday party.  It was my cousin Richard's birthday party.  I went with my Dad.  At Laser Strike we played Star Wars Pod Racing games.  It was like a little bike.  We sat on a chair and to stare we used two controls and a brake.  To stare you pulled a trigger on the side.  It didn't matter who won the race.  It was lots of fun.  I also went on a motor bike.  That was fun too.  

Later we had some birthday cake.  It was made of pretend lego blocks with marshmellows.  It was pretty fun because it was in the back of a ute.  It was my cousin's ute.  My cousin Richard was turning seven.  I had a pretty cool time.

On the weekend

On the weekend I went to the swimming pool.   I went with my mum, my dad and my sisters. We went on Saturday and Sunday.  These are our fun days. I wore my purple and pink swimming togs.  I went down the water slide.  My sister went down with me.  My baby is too little to go on a water slide.  She is scared of water slides.  We all did lots of swimming.  It was nice and warm in the water.  I like swimming a lot.  When we got home I had some chocolate ice-cream.

On the weekend I went to Rainbows End. I went with my mummy, my auntie Vanessa and my little cousin Caleb. Caleb is only 3 years old. My favourite ride went up and down, and around. I liked it the best because it went up and down, and around. I had a good time at Rainbows End.
