Weeding Our Class Garden

The Beach

In the holidays I went to the beach.  When we got to the beach we had a swim.  

During Lent

Today I am going to have kind hands.  I have a job to do at playtime.  My job is to look after the Room 2 children who are younger than me.

Estherose, Sulia, Madelyn, Jamie and Nino are watering our bean seeds because seeds need water to grow.

Madelyn, Willietony, Estherose and Frances are talking about planting and growing our watercress seeds.

Willietony is watering our watercress seeds because seeds need water to grow.  We hope that our seeds will grow bigger and bigger.

The Beach

In the holidays I went to the beach with my mama and my dad, and my cousin Paul.  I swam in the sea.  It felt nice and fresh.  Next I played in the sand by myself.  Later I went home with my family.  I had a lovely time.

Going To Church

Today I went to church at St Patrick's Church because it is Friday and it is the beginning of the school year.  We walked to church with the whole school.

The Holidays

In the holidays I played with my PS4 with my brothers and sisters.  My brothers names are Peter, Vaughn, Jony and Junior Toa John.  We played Minecraft on my PS4.  Then we  built houses.  First we got wood to build our houses.  Our houses had two rooms.  I wanted to build my house by myself.  I had a lovely time and I want to be a builder when I grow up.

The Beach

In the holidays my family and I went to the beach.  First we ate lunch at the beach.  Then we swam in the sea.  It felt warm and I like it.  

I dived under the water and I held my breath.  Then my dad took me to the deep water.  It felt cold but a little part was very warm.  We found beautiful shells in the water.  We took our shells home.  I like going to the beach.

Helping Others During Lent

During Lent I am going to help other people in several ways.  Firstly I am going to help Laura and Justin to speak in Samoan because they want to learn.  

Secondly I am going to help Mikey to look after God's creations because God gave them to us to look after.  

Thirdly I am going to help my little brother Jackson by giving him his bottle.  

Fourthly I am going to help my teacher by cleaning our classroom.  

Fifthly I am going to help myself by looking after our common home because it is nice for all of us to have a tidy home.  

Lastly I am going to help the Room 2 people by teaching them not to throw the bark in the playground at each other.  I am going to teach them that this is important because it may get in the eyes and their hair.

On Saturday

On Saturday my family and I went to my auntie Niva's place.  When we got there we played video games.  We played Batman, Justice Leagues, Fortnight and Gta.  Batman is my favourite game because it has got jets and upgrades.

Next we ate lunch.  We ate pork, chicken, potato salad and taro.  Taro is my favourite food because it tastes good and it will make me strong and healthy.

After that we watched the movie called The Lorax.  We only watched half of the movie.  Later we went home.  I had a glorious time at my auntie's house.

Lent

During Lent I am going to help my mum by cleaning the backyard.

Rotorua

In the holidays my family and I went to Rotorua.  In Rotorua I went in the pool.  The pool was nice and warm.  I dived under the water.  After I had swam in the pool my family and I bought a smoothie.  I had a strawberry smoothie.  It tasted delicious.  Later we went home to Auckland.  I had an excellent time.

St Patrick's Church

Today I went to St Patrick's Church with the whole school because it is the first Friday of the school year.  We walked to church.  

At church we sang perfectly to  God.  We prayed with a lovely voice and genuflected nicely to God because God loves us.  We listened quietly to Father Andrew talk to us and read from the bible.  I had a wonderful time at church.

Going to Australia

In the holidays I went to Australia with my family.  We stayed in a very big place with lots of people.  There was a swimming pool at the place.  I went swimming in the pool because it was warm.

One day I went to Sea World with my two brothers and my Mum.  I saw some mermaids.  They were swimming in the pool with sharks.  I felt afraid for the mermaids because I thought the sharks would eat them.

I also saw some sting rays.  They were flat like a saucer with a sting for a tail.  I touched the side of the sting ray and it felt slimy.  Sea World is a nice place to visit.  I had an exciting time.

Lent

During Lent I am going to clean my bedroom. That will make my mum happy.

The Swimming Pool

In the holidays I went to the swimming pools with my cousin and my auntie.  At the swimming pools I played with my cousin and we swam.

My Birthday

On my birthday I went to the beach with my family.  There were lots of us at the beach because some of my family invited their friends.  

When we got to the beach we swan to the rocks.  The water felt warm at the top and cold at the bottom.  The rocks were sharp and my dad cut his foot on the rocks.

After we came out from swimming we all stood around the table, on the grass, for my birthday cake.  My birthday cake was on the table.  It was chocolate with vanilla on the top and it said Happy Birthday Sonasi in chocolate.  Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me.  My mum gave me a kiss and my gave me a hug.  My birthday cake tasted delicious and choclatey.

After we had eaten my cake we went home because the tide was going out and the beach smelt.  The beach smelt like garbage.  I had an awesome birthday and I had a lovely time.



   

Lent

During Lent I am going to have kind hands.  I have a job to do and my job is to look after the Room 2 children because they are younger than me.  I will say polite things and help them.  I am also going to help August and my Mum to tidy my room.  They will be very happy.

At Church

Today I went to St Patrick's church because it Friday and it is the beginning of the school year.  We went with the whole school and we walked there.  

At church we sang with lovely voices and we prayed nicely to God.  We listened respectfully to Father Andrew read the Bible.  Then I genuflected before I lined up and left the church.  I had an excellent time at church.

Lent

During Lent I am going to do my best by helping my brother Jaeden and my best friend Nicole.  Sometimes my mum says that Nicole and I are like sisters, but I just call her Nicole.  I show her how to do Maths and ABCs, and sometimes we play on our bikes.  We read books together with Jaeden.  Also my mum and I draw on the paper.  We have lots of fun together. 

Lent

During Lent I am going to help my dad to clean my toys in the toy box.  I am also going to help my mum to do the dishes.

My Grandpa's Funeral

On the 24th of December my Grandpa died.  All of my family were there when my Grandpa died.  My dad cried because my Grandpa was my dad's dad.  When he died we kissed his head and I felt sad because I love my Grandpa and he loves me. 

In the morning I went to the hospital with my dad and mum.  We got grandpa's body and put him on the tray next to the coffin in the car that my mum was driving.  We took my Grandpa's body to my uncles shop and put him in a cold room.

The next day it was Grandpa's funeral.  My Grandpa's funeral was at our church.  Grandpa's coffin was put in the church next to Jesus.  I was happy because Jesus took him to heaven.  We all sang and prayed.  Father prayed.  Then we took my Grandpa's body to the grave yard.  We through flowers and we wrote his family name in flowers.

I felt good because Grandpa is in heaven and he is looking after me.  Later we went home.  I had a lovely time because it was a special family time.

The Holidays

In the holidays I went to the beach with my family.  We went to the beach in our car.  

When we got to the beach we set up our mat, our bags and also our food.  Next we ate our chips and watermelon.  The watermelon tasted very juicy and delicious.  

After we had eaten we went for a swim in the sea.  The sea was warm and it was nice to swim in.  My mum taught me how to swim.  Then we to the water fountain to swim.  The water was cold.

Later we got dressed into our clothes.  We had fun at the beach and I had a good time!

Going to the Panmjre Lagoon Swimming Pool

On Saturday my family and I went to the Panmure Lagoon swimming pool.  First we packed our stuff into our car.  We packed our food and a mat to sit on.  We took our boards for swimming on.  

When we got to the Lagoon we took our stuff out of the car and put it on the mat and put them on the grass.  Next we ate our lunch.  We had drinks, sandwiches and chips.

After that we went for a swim in the Lagoon swimming pool.  The water felt awesome because we took our boards in with us to play on.  We also played splashing and we screamed loudly!

Later, when we had finished swimming we packed our food, the mat and our boards into the car.  I had a glorious time at the Panmure Lagoon pool.
