On Saint Patrick's Day

On Friday it was Saint Patrick's Day, so it was our feast day because our school is called Saint Patrick's School.  We had a very busy day. 

First thing in the morning we went to church.  At church we knelt and prayed to God.  We also sang songs to God and Jesus.  After church we went back to school.  It was morning tea time.  I played tag and Ofa was in.  Next Miss Bullot put us into teams for the games.  Our team leader was Glen.

The first game I went to was number six.  It was with Miss Chao and it was called 'Steal the Emerald and the Gold'. Glen had the first turn and then the little people had a turn. Then it was the big people's turn and it was my turn.  Lastly it was my brother's turn.  His name is Xavier.  The second game was with Mrs Twomy and the thrid game was with Mrs Dines.  The fourth activity that I did was making and decorating planes for Irish Airways.

After playing our games and doing some art and craft activities the bell rand and we all sat under the tree and had ice blocks.  Then the Room 8 children said Grace and the bell rang.  

Next we went and had our lunch.  For lunch I ate a sandwich and some apples and then we played on our playground and on the field.  I played soccer with my friends Cooper and Chester.  When the bell rang we all lined up and we went back to our classroom.
