Chocolate

I like chocolate because it tastes yummy. Chocolate comes in lots of flavours. My favourite kind of chocolate is chocolate ice-cream. I tasted it at my cousin's old house. It tasted of coffee. My cousin and I put it in the fridge. My cousin ate my one.

The Holidays in July

In the holidays I went to the snow. I went with my cousins. We had lots of stops for the toilet, taking pictures and having snacks too. It took forever to get to the snow. We had to go over 20 mountains.

On the way we went to a kiwifruit shop. It had a tour for us to go on. We had a ticket. The tour was about kiwifruit. When we had finished the tour we went back on the road to our hotel.


In the car I said to my Dad, “how many more mountains do we have to go over?” He said, “there are no more mountains.” I said, “yah”. I said “yah” because I was getting bored. My Mum had different flavoured tick-tacks in her bag. I had the yellow and green tick-tacks.

When we got to the hotel I went up the stairs. There were beds both upstairs and downstairs. There was a TV up the stairs and a TV down the stairs. There was also a big bed down the stairs.

We went to Countdown. We bought some groceries. When we were finished we went back to our hotel. At the hotel my sister and I put on our swimming togs. My Dad went to the back of the hotel to fill up the hot tub. Then we tried to use the bubbler but it didn’t work. So we went to my cousin’s hot tub and had a nice swim. I was very tired. After that my sister and I slept until the morning.

At the holidays

At the holidays I went to school. My school’s called Veyila Bich School. I ate apples. I went to school to learn. I learnt my times tables. I played with Caleb. We played tiggy. When school was finished my dad picked me up. He took us home. I like going to school.

In the holidays

In the holidays I went to my cousins' house. Their names are Big Tuporo and Christian. I played my cousin’s monster game. The game belongs to Christian and the X-Box belongs to Big Tuporo. I had fun.

At the weekend

At the weekend I went to Ticketec to get tickets to the concerts. I went with my family. The first concert that we are going to is the Taylor Swift concert. Then the second concert that we are going to is the Katy Perry concert. And the third concert that we are going to is the Justin Beiber concert. Hopefully I will have lots of fun.

At the weekend, part 2

At the weekend I went to Chipmunks. In the car, on the way to Chipmunks, I was tired. But when we got there I was excited. I went through the Chipmunks door. I saw a big bouncy slide and a lost park. I also saw a big ladder and a Merry-go-around. It was going around. I wanted to go on it. I got on the Pink Horse. It was cool. I was thirsty so my cousin gave me water to drink. Later my Dad picked me up. I had fun at Chipmunks.

At the weekend

At the weekend my family, my cousin and I went apple picking. We had plastic bags. I got four apples. Me and my sister climbed the ladders to get the apples. It was time to go home but before we went home we stopped for ice cream. I liked the ice cream. It tasted good. I had fun picking apples.

At playtime 1

At playtime I played with my friend Chaim. We played on the swings. Chaim went first and I went second. Then the bell rang so I ran back to class. We had fun playing on the swings.

Going to Wellington 2

During our stay in Wellington we visited the Museum. At the museum we saw the skeleton of a dinosaur and some old famous statues. The best thing I saw at the museum was a crane made out of plastic. It could move a spinning top. At the museum my dad bought some glow in the dark bracelets from the shop.
When it was time to leave the Museum we went to the Wellington Cable car. I found an information booklet about the Wellington Cable car. In the front of the booklet it said the Wellington Cable car. My dad had some tickets. We had a ride on the cable car. The cable car went into some tunnels. I liked going through the tunnels and looking outside through the windows at the trees, the grass and the flowers.

The Holidays, Part 2

After we had been to the airport to say goodbye to my Grandmother we went to sleep. The next day I went to Butterfly Creek, and several other places, with my family and my cousins.

At Butterfly Creek I saw many different animals. These included pigs, rabbits, horses, hamsters, a goat, two birds and two alligators. My favourite animals at Butterfly Creek were the hamsters because one of them had different coloured fur.

Then it was time to go. We went to McDonalds. At McDonalds there was a park. At McDonalds I had a Sunday to eat and a drink of coco cola. I also had French fries. My favourite food was chocolate ice cream Sunday. I had a super super fun time.

The Holidays

I did a lot of things with my family in the holidays. Firstly, we went to the airport to say goodbye to my Grandmother because she was going back to the Philippines. I was given a toy to play with if I got board. We went up to the top of the roof at the airport. We also went to the second floor where I saw a games room. I hugged my Grandma and she hugged me. Then it was time for Grandma to get on the plane. I cried because I already missed my Grandma.
We drove home in our car. On the way home I saw Butterfly Creek. My Dad said that we would go there tomorrow.

At playtime

At playtime I played with Ingrid and Kayla. We played cooking. We used a stick to mix the grass. Then Ingrid said I am fired. Then the bell rang. I went back to class. When we went back to class we played follow the leader.

Cheska’s Birthday

On the weekend I went to Cheska’s Birthday Party. At Cheska’s Birthday Party she had a bouncy castle. I flipped and did a cartwheel on the bouncy castle. I accidentally hurt Chaim’s toes. When I went to the toilet I saw a room with Barbie dolls in it.
At night we watched a scary movie. It was about a ghost girl and a rocking chair. While watching the movie I screamed. I was very frightened. Some people went home but I stayed. We played musical statues. In the middle of the night I went home with my Mum. I had a super fun time at Cheska’s Birthday Party.

At the birthday party

At the weekend I went to a birthday party. It was my cousin Chiana’s birthday party. It was at a hall. They had heaps of balls, blocks and frizz bees. The blocks were red, yellow, green, purple and black. I kicked the ball. It went high up to the roof. I was inside the hall with my cousins when I heard a whistle. When you heard the whistle you had to sit down in the middle of the room. We played heaps of games. These games included hide and seek, duck duck goose, sharks and heaps of para-shooting games. When you were tired you could play around or rest. I had fun. When I was having the most fun I was making a castle with my brother. When the whistle rang we had to go to the eating room. We had pie and birthday cake to eat. After we had eaten and played a lot my Mum, Dad, my brother and sister and I went home. I had a fantastic day at my cousin’s birthday party.

Christmas

One day it was Christmas. I got a purple bag and 3 Barbie Dolls. One of my Barbie Dolls is a Barbie in a Fashion Fairy Tale. Then I went to my cousin’s house. We did some roller skating inside her house. I had a good time.

At playtime I and Lasike played soccer. We are cool at playing soccer. We scored goals. I like playing soccer.

Going to Wellington

Going to Wellington

After school I packed some food in case nobody gave me any. I put it in a bag. Then I went to sleep. When I was sleeping my Dad ate some of the food that I had packed. Then my cousin and her parents were at my house. We used our car to drive to Wellington. Me, my cousin and my sister were at the back of the car. My mum and my cousin’s Mum were in the middle of the car. My Dad and my cousin’s Dad were in the front. On the way to Wellington I saw some houses, trees, grass, fences, sheep and sheepdogs. I saw some big things too. I felt dizzy. Then we were in Wellington. In Wellington I saw trees, flowers, houses, big buildings and status too. My cousin’s hotel room was near ours. We had a little refrigerator. In it was some little milk. We went to McDonalds. We ate at our hotel room. It was night. We went to sleep. The next day we went to the museum. Then a lady came to talk to us. She said that the rest of the museum would be open in a minute. In the museum I saw a ball. The ball was made of rocks. The ball was rolling slowly and it was wet. There was an ocean outside the museum. We took some family photos and then we went back to the museum. I liked going to Wellington.

Cookie Monster

At playtime I was the Cookie Monster and the kids were the cookies. The kids were running away from me because I was scary ha ha ha ha.

Going to church

This morning we went to church. We went to church to celebrate our coming back to school for 2011. There were a lot of people at Mass. These people included parents, St Patrick’s school people, Father and some of our families. We sang, prayed and knelt. We had a quiet and fun time at church.

The Weekend

On the weekend I played with my Dad. I also played with my uncle. I like playing.

The Weekend

At the weekend I did my homework. I did all of my homework. I love homework. Then I went outside to play.

ANZAC Biscuits 100 grams butter ¾ cup rolled oats 1 tablespoon golden syrup ¾ cup plain flour ½ cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda ¾ cup coconut 1 tablespoon hot water Melt butter and syrup together in a large saucepan. Cool. Mix sugar, coconut, rolled oats and flour together. Stir into saucepan. Dissolve soda in water and mix in. Place rounds teaspoonsful on a greased oven tray. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes, or until golden.
